Four tips to build your resilience during times of chaos

Here are four simple and practical strategies to help you navigate life's challenges with a stronger, more resilient mindset. Start with baby steps and be gentle with yourself.

Limit the amount of information you consume each day. Before checking your phone or turning on the TV, ask yourself, "Do I need this? Will this benefit me?" Connecting to social media and the news is often just a habit.

Disconnect from your phone and screens at least two hours before bedtime to engage in activities that calm your nervous system before sleeping. Try knitting or crocheting, drawing or coloring, light reading, listening to soft music, practicing restorative yoga, playing with your pet, working on a puzzle, or reading to your children.

Practice mindfulness. Each morning, when you wake, sit in bed with a straight spine, relax, and close your eyes. Take three deep, nourishing breaths and ask yourself what you can do today to better care for yourself. Check in with yourself later. Even one conscious deep breath can bring your attention back to the present moment.

Include essences in your daily routine! These six flower essences can help you find balance, feel centered, and maintain strength and flexibility in times of uncertainty. They allow you to stay centered in your heart and body, with a calm, clear-minded focus, even when facing challenges and chaos. These essences can help you understand and integrate your experiences, especially when you feel overwhelmed and lose sight of life's meaning.
